We need people to bake cakes, cup cakes, loaf tin cakes, etc… yes we need lots of cakes. We also need people to help serve the cakes to our customers, to serve tea and coffee and to wash pots. Volunteering comes in all shapes and sizes.
Sunday 18 August – E Party at The Oaklands £10.00
This is a club event for members, friends family and invited guests. Tickets are on sale through the Club’s Charity Secretary at the meetings.
Previous years we have had themes of P and R, where we have worn items beginning with P or R, and for the faith lunch guests have brought plates of food beginning with P or R.
This year for Elaine we are having an E Party where ‘Everything Goes’. Why not come in something elegant or extravagant; an embroidered outfit, or something easy to wear. Food could be egg based (but not too much), emerald, easy to eat (finger food); or as the title states ‘everything goes’. Bums on seats are the most important thing at these social events.
