Events 2019/2020

From July 1st President Elaine Hopkins will be in office and would love your support at her events over the coming year.

Elaine has created a fantastic programme that accommodates the diversity of the Club and District with events for one and all.
Volunteering – If you would like to get a taste of what being part of a club like ours, then join us at a meeting to hear more about what is happening in Warsop, or perhaps look at volunteering at an event. Both will be great fun. Get in touch via our contact page

Sunday 7th July – Warsop Carnival Tea Tent The Carrs, Warsop.

At this open to the public event we serve afternoon tea (cakes and refreshments) to over 1000 people. We would love you to come and see us on the day and join in the fun.

We need people to bake cakes, cup cakes, loaf tin cakes, etc… yes we need lots of cakes. We also need people to help serve the cakes to our customers, to serve tea and coffee and to wash pots. Volunteering comes in all shapes and sizes.

Sunday 18 August – E Party at The Oaklands £10.00

This is a club event for members, friends family and invited guests. Tickets are on sale through the Club’s Charity Secretary at the meetings.

Previous years we have had themes of P and R, where we have worn items beginning with P or R, and for the faith lunch guests have brought plates of food beginning with P or R.

This year for Elaine we are having an E Party where ‘Everything Goes’. Why not come in something elegant or extravagant; an embroidered outfit, or something easy to wear. Food could be egg based (but not too much), emerald, easy to eat (finger food); or as the title states ‘everything goes’. Bums on seats are the most important thing at these social events.

Thursday 29 August – Welbeck Abbey Pre-Booked Tour

Due to the popularity of this club members only event, it has been pre booked and all places are taken. Should any cancellations become available, these will be announced at club meetings.

Wednesday 18 September – Afternoon Tea, with Trevor Negus at the Hostess Restaurant £15.00

Pimms
